Oaks Lagoons
For the special price we paid we were not expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with how good the rooms were. They were spacious, modern and well equipped. Aircons and fans in each room and a free outdoor BBQ area. Also, I've had a few massages over the years and I found the massage therapist was particularly good. The only disappiontment was the very small cooking pan in the room, you couldn't even fit a t'bone steak in it. Over all, 4.5 out of 5 as I don't give full marks for anything. Upon arrival there was an extremely hepful young girl and a darker older man with a friendly nature and good sense of humour. Oaks Lagoons
Without a doubt, one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at during my travels. There are loads of 'luxury' resorts in Port Douglas and Oaks lives up to my expectations. The biggest highlight is definitely the pools. Very nice. (Reviewed by Harrison on 14-Mar-2012)

Mantra PortSea
the Mantra Port Sea is just beautiful. The Lagoon Pool is gorgeous, with a swim up bar. I would definitely stay here again. Suits both couples and families (Reviewed by Leanne Mercieca on 16-Feb-2012)

Sea Temple Resort and Spa
From the time we arrived till the time we checked out, the staff were very attentive. The pool, our 2 bdr apartment, our daily breakfast in the restaurant, my facial at Mii Spa and my husbands round of golf, are all reasons this property is truly 5 star.
