Was extremely impressed with the hotel itself - we had a beautiful 2 br apartment on the 4th flr with views to the ocean. The staff, however, are another matter! Sarah, in particular, was so snobby and distant I felt uncomfortable about having to ask any questions. When my daughter fell because of an oil spill in the carpark there was no call or concern for her wellbeing or follow-up.

For valentines day my boyfriend booked a room at Wyndham, and we loved it. Had breakfast at their cafe which was great because we didnt have to walk into town. Had a lovely weekend relaxing by the pool and will definitley stay there again.

Took hubby there for anniversary gift and informed the reception it was to celebrate our anniversary - worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Requested high floor or views - got neither even though hotel was empty. There are so many better places to stay on the coast, just a shame I took a risk for our anniversary present.

My partner and I got a great deal at Azzura Surfers Paradise through GO Accommodation last weekend and we were very impressed with the resort. Although the room was small (1 bedroom), it was very neat and modern. The pool was great too! Highly recommended if you're looking somewhere new and nice to stay on the Gold Coast.
