Hilton Surfers Paradise Residences
Rooms were noisy. Constant water pipe noise and excessive street noise as rooms were not double glazes. Booked and paid for Deluxe Ocean view and was alocated an apartment with side sea view from very small balcony (Reviewed by Sue McGreachan on 08-May-2012)

On a recent trip to the ‘Goldy’ I was lucky enough to have help from the Guys at Go Accommodation to help book a room that night on my drive down. It is a great service these days to be able to call someone to make the booking for you. Anyway, here is my take on the hotel. Most impressed with - Expansive pool level, lots of lounge areas to kick back and relax. One of my favourite chef’s - Luke Mangan - You have to eat in his Salt Grill. 5 stars for this one! Inspired taste combinations to please the palate. Sprightly service. Fix Bar - Exotic cocktails in a sumptuous leather and wood surround. James, the head barman will mix your perfect desires in an a shaker and serve them chilled. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom residence which was spacious and comfortable, with a stylish/elegant but relaxed feel. I love a hotel with good bathroom products and they ticked all the boxes. After a busy day, a nice fluffy robe awaits you on your return to your room. Kick back and relax in front of one of the huge flat screen tv’s and reflect on your day. If you feel like staying in and enjoying the luxury of your room, you can order in-room service or use the fully equipped stylish kitchen to whip your own tasty delights. Don’t worry about the dishes the discreet inbuilt dishwasher will take care of that.Overall - A relaxed 5 star experience, excellent service, great facilities in an awesome location. The Towers of Chevron Renaissance
We just got back from a 5 night stay at Chevron Towers. The resort itself is beautiful and the lagoon pool area is the hero of the resort. We even found a secluded pool in another tower when exploring and the indoor pool was just renovated apparently which was nice. The apartment we stayed in was in tower 3 and was nice and modern with a great view over the pool and a decent ocean view as well. Location-wise, reception takes you straight into Chevron shopping mall full of shops, restaurants etc. The only minor thing was we got a little lost the first couple of days between the 3 towers as they are all quite similar and not the easiest to find your way at night (when you've had a few too many). What did you think about our service?... Got a sweet deal on a 2 bed apartment for 650 dollars for 5 nights with one of the 3 day sales, which worked out to be about half price. Have booked with GO before and will do again in the future. The res team are really friendly and fun to talk to. Cheers.
BreakFree Longbeach Resort
I was running the marathon that weekend so location was absolutely perfect. Our room had a sea view which was perfect. The only negative comment I would say would be that after 42kms a bath would have been fantastic. I used the pool however which was fantastic. (Reviewed by Anne Hentschke on 20-Feb-2012)

Paradise Centre Apartments
We enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Centre Apartments however the unit was dated particularly the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom and kitchen were not clean at best and the kitchen was short of cutlery and things. The location is excellent and the other apartment facities such as the gym, pool are fantastic. The unit was a 2 star, the complex I would say 3.5. There hasnt been alot of money spent on the unit we stayedin for many years. (Reviewed by Brent Griffin on 09-Feb-2012)
What did you think about our service?... The go accommodation team were great however I think they are being conned by the apartment complexes as the Paradise Centre Apartments do not match up to the star rating presented by go accommodation. The asking price for accommodation in Surfers is over priced. I don't mind paying the rates requested if the property lives up to the rating. Many don't in fact the last three times we have visited Surfers the accommodation did not match the star rating advertised.
Circle on Cavill
The place was great. The ocean view was awesome. The reception staff were very friendly. The room cleaners were very helpful. The only issue was the maintenance team that appeared to have gone on holidays. Despite reporting a non-working room phone to reception staff AND the room cleaners 3 times over 3 days the maintenance team still never fixed my phone before I checked out. This meant several trips to reception if I needed something because I couldn't call them and it was extremely frustrating. Apparently maintenance had more "important" things to fix. Apart from this my stay was great and I would go back again as long the electrical equipment in the room works. If it doesn't I'll yell at them next time to fix it because asking nicely obviously doesn't work. (Reviewed by Dwayne on 08-Feb-2012)

Paradise Centre Apartments
We've stayed here twice now and will continue to do so whenever we come to Surfers Paradise. I found it very difficult to find somewhere that offers accommodation as cheap and right on Cavill Avenue. The apartments were great for the price and the best part is that level 4 in the elevator takes you straight into Time Zone!. Highly recommended place. (Reviewed by Klaye on 09-Jun-2011)
Wyndham Surfers Paradise
Was extremely impressed with the hotel itself - we had a beautiful 2 br apartment on the 4th flr with views to the ocean. The staff, however, are another matter! Sarah, in particular, was so snobby and distant I felt uncomfortable about having to ask any questions. BreakFree Imperial Surf
Hotel in really good location and on beach front. Stayed in Unit 14D which was great. Friends stayed in another unit but ours was definately the best as it had a new designer kitchen, which was great. Seems the apartments are separately owned so they are decorated differently and some are renovated and some arent so you need to specify you want a renovated one - Unit 14D is really nice so we are booking that one again. Took hubby there for anniversary gift and informed the reception it was to celebrate our anniversary - worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Requested high floor or views - got neither even though hotel was empty. There are so many better places to stay on the coast, just a shame I took a risk for our anniversary present. My partner and I got a great deal at Azzura Surfers Paradise through GO Accommodation last weekend and we were very impressed with the resort. Although the room was small (1 bedroom), it was very neat and modern. The pool was great too! Highly recommended if you're looking somewhere new and nice to stay on the Gold Coast. We have just returned from our stay at The Towers Of Chevron Renaissance, and it was beautiful, everything was clean and lovely, the room was exactly what we had requested. The resort its self was really well looked after and the facilities were great, with everything right on your doorstep it was so convienent . We would certainly stay there agian in the future. Stayed in Apartment 2227 on 22nd floor - the views were fantastic across the canal. The room itself was very comfortable and had everthing you could possibly need for your stay - beautiful bathroom!! The only flaw was it was a little confusing finding your way between the 3 towers - to get to reception from our room we had to walk outside on the footpath and enter a separate building, but it wasn't a major thing. The pool was just beautiful, although travelling in March meant that although the weather was perfect every day, the outdoor pool was a little cool. Q1 Resort
I stayed at the Q1 with a group of colleagues for a conference. The rooms we had were nicely set up, clean and large. The views were great, particularly from those of us who got floors higher in the building. The conference facilities were lovely and food adequate. I can't really comment on the value since we stayed on the company?! Overall worth a visit although there are many other very nice hotels in the area. (Reviewed by Chase on 11-Aug-2009)
